The adidas Tokyo has always had the kind of shape that doesn't need much doing to it. Naturally, Song for the Mute went the other way.

Mesh, distressed suede and textured canvas come together in a mix that feels equal parts technical and worn-in. Raw-looking finishes, paint splatter details and a deliberately aged sole move the silhouette away from straightforward retro territory, while the crumpled heel adds another layer of character.

What we like most is that none of it feels overworked. Every detail adds something, but the slim runner shape remains the star of the show.
